Once you have read the first couple of chapters you will quickly realise that pursuing the "perfect man" or dating as many guys as possible is not only the wrong goal but could be the reason why you have failed to maintain a relationship.
Also what makes this book very different from the others is the amount of attention paid to each element required to select, attract and date the right man in order to achieve the loving and meaningful relationship that is desired. Meet and Keep the Right Man not only thoroughly discusses the lies, myths and fallacies surrounding what can be a very confusing subject but is simply the most detailed relationship book on the market at the moment.
In the meet and keep the right man core formula section (the 5 step system) nothing is held back. Naomi gives a detailed overview of each step and then lists each action in a simple to follow order. There are detailed charts and checklists for you to monitor just where you are in the system
The only downside to this book, in my opinion, is that there is so much information that you may at first feel a little overwhelmed but believe me when I say you will never have to buy another dating book. This book is written by Bob Grant, a professional councellor, therapist and relationship coach for 17 years. The book is very well written and is directed at women who want to understand men.
Basically what Bob Grant is telling us ladies, is that the book is directed to us, not because we make all the mistakes in a relationship, but because in his experience it is usually the woman who recognises that there is a problem and is the one prepared to initiate change.
The title of the book led me to think that the intention was to turn a woman into a submissive and passive partner, but in reality this was far from the case. Bob Grant divulges some very interesting facts relating to understanding men and then follows on by explaining how this revelation can help a woman improve her relationships with men in all aspects of their lives.
It is written in the form of a manual that can be used by any woman whether she is single and looking to start dating, is single and in a relationship or is married and wants to re-ignite the flame. It is divided into different chapters so that it is quite easy to navigate and browse the various sections that are relevant to individual problems.
I found this book quite different from any other relationship books that I have read because Bob bases all of his information on the feedback that he has received from real life women that he has helped in the past. Furthermore, some of the answers he gives with regard to the type of women and attributes that men really like, were very surprising and not at all what I would have expected.

I loved this book and found myself actually laughing out loud in parts. The thing is we can all relate to what Mimi is writing about. Such questions as "Do you phone him or not?" and "what happens if his phone is on answer machine.? Do you leave a message and hope he replies or do you try again later knowing that it looks like you are desperate" and then the worse thing is what if you ring at a bad time and he gives you the brush off?
I though this book was great, not just because I could relate to a lot of the issues Mimi raises about how and when to call a guy, but because she convinces you that 9 times out of 10 it will be the guy who does the calling and not the other way round. In my opinion this book is a must for most women who regularly face the dilemma of not knowing whether to call a guy or not. They want to give him an opportunity to call them first, but they also want to feel in control of the situation of their dating situation. So what should they do? Mimi lays it all out in logical steps that are a breeze to follow.
